ABOUT
Matt Sawyer has been photographing the world in the last several years: Tulsa, OK, the east and west coasts, Canada, Japan, and northern Europe. He occasionally does wedding, engagement, event photos and public relations work, as well as architectural and commercial photography work.
Matt’s journey in photography began in 2003 with a small digital camera for a trip to Japan, simply to document the trip. Over the next couple of years, his already developed sense of technology and life-long passion for art started to blend together into the photographic realm. In 2005 he picked up his first film camera at a flea market -- a medium-format Yashica TLR -- and the shutter bug had bitten him shortly thereafter.
In 2007 Matt embarked on a semi-professional photographic career with wedding photography. He also continued shooting landscapes while exploring northern Europe and soon began to experiment with portrait photography. Since that time his photographic activity and passion have been ever increasing. In January 2008 Matt exhibited his first photography show at the gallery at Shades of Brown Coffee & Art in Tulsa. In January 2009 Matt co-exhibited travel landscape and cityscape photographs from an exploratory trip down US Highway 412 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center with friends Darshan Phillips and Lance Miller.
Soon Matt found himself shooting product marketing photos and architectural photos for a real estate company and and an office furniture company in Tulsa. His photography has appeared in advertisements in Tulsa People magazine, Community Spirit magazine, and University of Tulsa athletic department publications.
Matt currently lives with his beautiful wife, Amy, his dog, Beck and cat, Smith, in Tulsa.

Weddings:
Wedding coverage is $200/hour. This includes the following:- two photographers: myself + one assistant photographer
- editing of all photos
- DVD of full-resolution photos
- you are welcome to order prints from me at any time after the wedding
- 50% deposit required two weeks prior to wedding, remaining 50% due upon receipt of DVD
- minimum three hours
- destination weddings: very flexible on travel fees
Portraits:
Portrait coverage is $200/hour. This includes all editing and a DVD of full-resolution photos.
Commercial/advertising:
$100/hour for production time.
$100/hour for editing/revisions.
